Sizzle each week!

Weekly classes at Lil' Chef!  Each week will be filled with new ideas and creativity as we help your child create amazing
things together through teamwork and imaginative thinking.  We'll even take a trip to the local Farmer's Market in our shopping
plaza during the summer and fall seasons and then sizzle up what we found locally.  We'll also be exploring Food Science,
making sculptures from bars of chocolate, growing hydroponic tomatoes, and make flying potatoes (yes, really!)

Our program begins at age 3 with our parent-child classes.  We also offer healthy cooking adult classes.

All Lil' Chefs will learn basic skills including the following:

  • following recipes
  • the proper way to handle food
  • preparing foods through teamwork
  • cooking techniques
  • creativity & imagination
  • developing their own recipes
  • food and table etiquette
  • what ingredients work well together
  • much, much more!
Our Weekly Classes: Tuition for 8 weekly classes is $199 +
one time registration fee of $25.

Preschoolers (Ages 3 to 5 with Adult)
Age three is a great time to begin cooking with your child.  Each 1 hour
class is based on an theme and our staff will incorporate the theme into the
recipes during the class (think Dr. Seuss and
Green Eggs and Ham).
Preschool classes include recipes that are age-appropriate, as well as a
basic discussion of nutrition.  We'll discuss eating a 'rainbow of colors' to
help your child understand the importance of eating healthy at an early age
and try to help your child identify many new foods.  We'll use fun
preschool-oriented tools such as dances, books, songs, shapes, letters and
numbers.

Ages 5 to 11  (Parents May Drop Off)
The fun never stops with our 5 to 12 age group.  Your child will become so
self confident as we work with him or her together as team to learn great
kitchen skills along with math, reading and science skills necessary in the
kitchen.   Your budding Lil' Chef will also learn to create their very own
masterpieces using ingredients that they learn about in our program.  And
I'll bet they'll even sizzle up a few things at home for you too!

Teens (12 + ) - Please see our Teen Chef Page.
Teens will enjoy more challenging recipes in our studio kitchen, while
continuing to build their self reliance as they prepare for the lifelong journey
ahead without Mom or Dad!  We will have iron chef style competitions and
explore food science.  For example, can we make an egg bounce?  And
can potatoes really make a clock tick?  (The answer to both is
YES!)
